Advice | 5 June 2009 | par : remy
In the winter it’s even more important to:
- WARM UP to avoid injuries to muscles, tendons and ligaments stiffened by the cold.
- COVER UP EXTREMITIES that are more sensitive to the cold : gloves, hat or headband to lower the risk of sinusitis.
- DRINK, even if you don’t feel thirsty, to compensate for water loss.
- COVER up after sport to avoid catching a chill.
You can also:
- Go out as a group to stay motivated.
- Do your sport in the daytime in light and less damp conditions.
- Wear reflective garments for visibility.
- Use cream to moisturise your skin
Because it generates endorphins, sport will boost your spirits and it’s a great remedy for winter blues!

Caring for Novadry garments

Advice | 6 March 2009 | par : audrey
Novadry textiles are designed to be easy-care. To ensure optimum and lasting performance, we recommend you:
- Remove stains before washing.
- Machine wash (30 to 40°C): remember to fasten hook & loop fasteners and use gentle detergent.
- Rinse well and don’t spin on too fast a cycle.
- Line dry or tumble dry on low for a short cycle.
Novadry fabrics have a water repellent treatment; they don’t soak up water.
This treatment can fade over time. To reactivate it you can:
- Iron the areas concerned (cold iron).
- Use the tumble dryer.
- Apply Novadry re-waterproofing spray.
