Product news | 16 July 2010 | par : audrey
The fruit of partnership work between Quechua and Stratermic, it ensures optimum waterproofing and breathability.
The NOVADRY® membrane and taped seams keep you dry in all weather, all the way to the top.
With a high breathability rating (RET =7) , this jacket will ensure you stay dry on the inside on all climbs.
Driving rain won’t seep in through the polyurethane-coated water repellent zips with inside flaps, which will keep the cold water out.
Now all you need is to decide on your climb!

Lining is your softest protection

Technology | 6 July 2010 | par : audrey
You may have noticed in some waterproof garments, there is a light, perforated fabric lining (or mesh).
This is more than just an accessory; the lining plays several roles :
- It prevents wear of the membrane or coating. As you move, the friction from your skin can, over time, alter the efficacy of these components.
- It helps absorb moisture generated by your body.
- It prevents the unpleasant “sticky” feeling that you can have on your arms when wearing a jacket over a short-sleeved top.
Your rain jacket is perfect for warm, thundery weather, and you’ll forget you’re wearing it.
If you’re still not convinced, check out the CR100+!

Product news | 5 January 2010 | par : audrey
Winter sports are approaching… this is the time to check that your equipment is ready.
Staying dry while you enjoy the pleasures of the snow is essential. As you burn off energy on the ski runs, your body sweats producing water vapour.
That’s why your clothing needs to be breathable as well as waterproof to let this vapour out.
Take, for example the SRX 500, a jacket fitted with NOVADRY® that gives you perfect waterproofing and breathability.
In addition to its waterproof and breathable membrane, the SRX500 has zipped vents under the arms. Perfect for when you get too hot!
Before setting off, don’t forget to drop your skis into the workshop to give them a “make-over”.
On your skis, get set, go!
