Do you know about Novadry garment water repellence?

This is a treatment applied to fabrics: hydrophobic (“don’t like” water) molecules are applied parallel to the fabric, and the result is that water slides off the fabric without soaking in.

Over time, friction and the volumes of water build up, making the molecules sag. This reduces the water repellent effect. But there are 3 easy ways to reactivate the water repellence.

1- Iron parts of the garment affected (cool iron).

2- Tumble-dry the garment on the synthetics/cool programme.

3- Apply NOVADRY® waterproofing spray.

Three easy ways to refresh your gear!

Novadry textiles are designed to be easy-care. To ensure optimum and lasting performance, we recommend you:

-          Remove stains before washing.

-          Machine wash (30 to 40°C): remember to fasten hook & loop fasteners and use gentle detergent.

-          Rinse well and don’t spin on too fast a cycle.

-          Line dry or tumble dry on low for a short cycle.

Novadry fabrics have a water repellent treatment; they don’t soak up water.

This treatment can fade over time.   To reactivate it you can:
- Iron the areas concerned (cold iron).

- Use the tumble dryer.

- Apply Novadry re-waterproofing spray.
